Let Ibizaah! DJ for you – Introducing the AutoDJ button
One of the main target users I had in mind when I build Ibizaah! was my long time friend Zigor. I met Zigor back in 1990 and we have kept our relationship over the last.. wow! almost 20 years. The last 14 years have been away from each other since my moved to Canada in 1996.
Anyway, like most people in Spain, Zigor has always enjoyed having house parties since he moved out of his parent’s home. Since YouTube went live 4 years ago, Zigor and friends always ended up playing tunes from YouTube at these parties and struggled to keep continuous playback since they had to switch from window to window to search and play more videos.
When I released Ibizaah! last week I killed that problem once and for all, but Zigor, my main Beta tester, suggested to have an automatic option to crossfade between songs so he or whoever was DJing could take breaks and still have continuous music playing.
Today, that issue has been also dealt with with the introduction of the Auto-DJ button. Just press it, sit back, take a break, join the dance floor, take a pee break, or whatever. With the Auto-DJ button, as long as there are songs queued on both playlists, Ibizaah! will automatically cross fade and loop through all the songs forever. When you are back from your break you can switch the Auto-DJ button off and take over the DJing again.
